Description

Tarred and Leathered is a 100% soy candle that captures the scent freshly oiled saddle leather with a touch of cologne. Rugged and rustic, this soy candle fragrance will appeal to those who love the smell of shoe stores, leather furniture, and leather jackets.  A thin pour of wax "tar" adorns the top of this candle, and as it melts it will turn the remaining wax a pleasant light grey color.  As each soy candle is prepared by hand, and in small batches, there will be variations in net weight and burn time.   Tarred and Leather is an 8 oz tin candle with a minimum net weight of 5.5 oz (155g), a typical net weight of 5.5-6.5 oz, and an estimated burn time of 35-55 hours.

Burning Instructions
Keep wick trimmed to 1/4 inch. Keep wax free of any foreign debris. It is important that your initial burn last at least two hours and develop a full burn pool (from edge-to-edge) to avoid tunneling and difficulty lighting the candle in the future.  Never burn more than 4 hours at a time. Keep away from drafts. Discontinue use when only 1/2 inch of wax remains.
