Shea It Like You Mean It soap is a handcrafted, small-batch cold processed soap.   This soap is made with the addition of both shea butter and avocado oil, giving the bar a beautiful soft feeling on the skin.  When formulating this recipe, I also replaced some of the water with coconut milk, and included some raw Tussa silk fibers to further add to the creamy soft sensation of the soap.

Shea It Like You Mean It is a generously-sized bar (it won't fit in my soap box, so it gets a muslin bag as packaging!)  Each box is at least 5.5oz, but are typically closer to 6 oz, if not more.

Shea It Like You Mean It is scented with a beautiful, clean fragrance called Farm Fresh Soap.  It smells both creamy and green at the same time.  There are notes of earthy/wood smells, but a strong finish of bright herbaceous greens.

To color Shea It Like You Mean It, I used only natural clays and titanium dioxide.  The lighter portion of the swirl design is white kaolin clay.  The darker portion of the swirl design is French green clay.  The addition of these clays add to the hardness and sturdiness of the bar.

I set out to make a luscious, shea-butter-intensive, decadent large bar.  When I say I want a shea butter soap, I shea it like I mean it.

The primary ingredients in Shea It Like You Mean It are olive oil, coconut oil, water, sodium hydroxide, shea butter, avocado oil, palm oil, coconut milk, castor oil, fragrance,  kaolin clay, French green clay, titanium dioxide, tussa silk fibers

I source all of my palm oil from RPSO-certified sources to ensure it is responsibly sourced.

Each bar of Shea It Like You Mean It is unique with variations in swirl pattern and slight variations in size.  Each bar, however, is beautiful and weighs approximately 5.5-6.0 oz.
