Description

That's Ale, Folks! is a luxurious cold-processed beer soap made with Heavy Seas Loose Cannon IPA beer.  It has the bold scent of spicy hops and touch of grapefruit, just like the beer.

If you are looking for a soap that's made with beer and actually smells like beer, That's Ale, Folks! is the soap for you.  The scent of this bar when dry is mild, but when the bar is warm and lathered, more of the beer scent and a touch of citrus really come through!

While there is a tiny amount of golden mica in this soap, the majority of the color you see in this soap is a result of the natural reaction of the beer and the soap-making process.  It was such a beautiful tone all by itself, it's really all about the ale!

A NOTE ABOUT BEER SOAP:

When making cold processed soap, a liquid is needed as part of the base.  Typically, my soaps will use distilled water, aloe vera juice, or coconut milk.  In the making of beer soaps, the liquid portion of the soap base was replaced with beer.  The beer was boiled down to reduce the liquid, burn off the alcohol, and remove the carbonation.  The result is a lovely caramel beer reduction that creates a beautiful soap base.  The natural sugars in beer produce big, fluffy bubbles in the finished bars.  Using a beer soap is truly a wonderful experience, and this beer fragrance truly celebrates the ale!
